NEW: The NAMM Foundation Announces 2009 Grant Cycle The Foundation seeks to fund proposals for projects that further NAMM's mission of creating more active music makers of all ages on behalf of its Members and expanding access to music making. The Foundation also seeks proposals for research that expands knowledge about the effects of music making across the life span. There are five initiatives that concentrate on reaching specific segments of potential music makers.
The Disney Music In You Grant Program
The NAMM Foundation and Disney's The Music in You Grant Program invite public middle and high schools to apply for a grant to put on their own school stage production of Disney's High School Musical or High School Musical II.
Accepting NAMM Foundation Grant Proposals September 16-December 1, 2008 The NAMM Foundation today announced that its 2009 Request for Grant Proposals initiative will open by close of business September 16, 2008 at www.nammfoundation.org. The Foundation seeks to fund proposals for projects that further the music products industry's mission of creating more active music makers of all ages and expand access to music making.
The NAMM Foundation Awards More Than $1.1 Million to Worthy Music Organizations and Research Projects NAMM Foundation grants aim to create more music makers. Americans for the Arts, Ad Council and the NAMM Foundation Launch New PSAs Championing Arts Education National Ads debut at the New England Institute of Art and will be promoted locally by more than 275 arts organizations across the country.
